Um starvið
Sum Sales and Service Supervisor verður tú ein av lyklapersónunum á deildini, og tú verður ein virkin partur av leiðslutoyminum á Matstovu- og barrdeildini umborð. Tú gongur á odda við tænastuni, sum verður veitt gestunum umborð, og tryggjar, at tænastan er á einum høgum støði. Harumframt hevur tú ábyrgd av at leggja arbeiðið á deildini til rættis og tryggja støðuga menning av mannagongdum.
Tú
Vit sóknast eftir einum ábyrgdarfullum persóni við royndum innan tænarayrkið. Tað er ein fyrimunur, um tú hevur viðkomandi útbúgving og leiðsluroyndir.
Tú hevur áræði, varðveitir yvirlit, hugsar í loysnum og setur góða tænastu í hásæti. Eisini er týdningarmikið, at tú dugir væl at samskifta á norðurlendskum og enskum máli.

Setanartreytir sambært sáttmála millum Føroya Fiskimannafelag & Reiðarafelagið fyri Handilsskip.
Talan er um fulltíðar starv, og tú siglur 1:1, ið merkir, at hevur tú verið 4 vikur umborð, so fært tú løn í 4 vikur heima.

Starvsbyrjan er skjótast til ber. Umsóknir verða viðgjørdar leypandi.
Tú søkir starvið við at senda tína umsókn umvegis frymilin niðanfyri.

Sales and Service Supervisor for Norröna
Smyril Line is seeking a dedicated Sales & Service Supervisor who is motivated to take on responsibility and contribute to the continuous development of daily operations. In this role, you will play an important part in fostering a positive working environment for colleagues while delivering high-quality and memorable experiences for our guests.
About the position
As a Sales and Service Supervisor, you step into a central role where leadership meets hands-on service. You will be part of the onboard management team in the Restaurant and Bar Department, working closely with colleagues and leading by example in a dynamic and international environment.
You will help shape daily operations, coordinate the team, and ensure a consistently high level of service. We are looking for someone who naturally takes the lead, inspires others, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Someone who doesn’t just maintain standards – but actively works to raise them.
About you
- Experience within the hospitality industry; relevant education and leadership experience are considered an advantage.
- A high level of responsibility and reliability.
- Proactive with the ability to maintain a clear overview, even in busy situations.
- A strong, solution-oriented mindset combined with a commitment to delivering a high standard of service.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Scandinavian languages
Terms of employment
Terms of employment are in accordance with the collective agreement between the Faroe Islands Fishermen’s Association and the Faroese Shipowners’ Association.
This is a full-time position with a 1:1 rotation system, meaning that after 4 weeks onboard, you will receive 4 weeks of leave at home with pay.
