Delivered to Smyril Line
Today, Smyril Line officially took delivery of the cargo vessel Akranes from the CIMC Raffles shipyard in Yantai, China.
Akranes is the second of two new Ro-Ro cargo vessels delivered to Smyril Line, marking another important milestone in the company’s ongoing investment in modernising and future-proofing its fleet.
Akranes is scheduled to depart China next week, heading towards Europe.ina for Europe. A big thank you to everyone who has worked hard to bring this project to delivery.
