Reizen en vrachtvervoer op de Noord-Atlantische Oceaan<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Smyril Line verzorgt reizen en vrachtvervoer naar de eilanden in de Noord-Atlantische Oceaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smyril Line werd in 1982 opgericht door drie officieren aan boord van M\/F Smyril. Zij kochten een zweedse veerboot genaam Gustav Vasa en noemden het M\/S Norr\u00f6na. Het eerste vaarseizoen van M\/S Norr\u00f6na was in de zomer van 1983.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smyril Line is vandaag de dag een betrouwbare reisorganisatie en rederij.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De huidige M\/S Norr\u00f6na kwam in April 2003 in de vaart. Door de jaren heeft het schip diverse renovaties ondergaan, eind 2020 heeft M\/S Norr\u00f6na de grootste renovatie ondergaan. Er zijn totaal 50 extra hutten gerealiseerd, op dek 10 is er een nieuw cafe gebouwd en over het hele schip zijn er diverse renovaties gedaan. Het schip beschikt nu over totaal 366 hutten en 30 couchettes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\/S Norr\u00f6na is 36.976 BRT, is 165,7 meter lang, 30 meter breed en bereikt een snelheid van 21 mijl per uur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smyril Line is tevens eigenaar van Smyril Line Cargo, die 3 vrachtschepen tot zijn vloot kan rekenen: Mykines, Glyvursnes en Lista. Voor meer informatie over Smyril Line cargo, bezoek cargo.fo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naadt deze schepen en het kantoor op de Faer\u00f6er Eilanden, is Smyril Line tevens eigenaar van Smyril Line Travel A\/S dat gevestigd is in Denemarken. Dit kantoor is verantwoordelijk voor de actititeiten van het kantoor in Kiel, Duitsland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

De grootste aandeelhouders binnen Smyril Line zijn P\/F 12.11.11 (59,5%), F\u00f8roya Landsst\u00fdri (16,2%) and Framtaksgrunnur F\u00f8roya (6,3%). De kleinere aandeelhouders beziiten totaal 18% van de aandelen. Het totale aandelenkapitaal bedraagt DKK 112.012.332.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
