Conditions for Participation

By participating in the competition, you accept the rules and conditions below.

The prize is a trip for two people to the Faroe Islands in 2026.

The Trip Includes

• Ferry crossing from Hirtshals to Tórshavn with MS Norröna and return
• Cabin without window
• It is possible to bring your own car (<1,9m H & 5m L) on the trip
• 3 nights at Hotel Brandan in Tórshavn with breakfast

The value of the prize is from € 640 depending on departure date.

It is free to participate in the competition.

Participation

To participate in the competition, it is necessary to fill in the registration form for the newsletter and submit this information. Participation is only possible within the participation period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered for the drawing.

Requirements for Participating in the Competition

Participants must be natural persons at least 18 years of age.

Participation is not limited to the organizer’s customers and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.

Notification and Delivery of Prize

Smyril Line will select a winner by random draw quarterly.

The winner will be announced within 7 days after the end of each quarter and notified directly by Smyril Line. All additional costs related to the trip (including meals, insurance, upgraded accommodation, transport, or any other personal expenses) must be covered by the winner.

The Winner Must Respond Within 7 Days of Being Notified

If the winner does not respond within this period, Smyril Line reserves the right to select a new winner.

The prize is handed exclusively to the winner. The trip cannot be transferred to a third party.

An exchange, change to another product from Smyril Line, or a cash payment of the prize is not possible.

Prize Booking Terms

The prize must be booked within 6 months after the winner has accepted it and can be used for departures in 2025 or 2026.

Additional costs associated with claiming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.

Privacy

In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to provide personal data. The participant guarantees that the personal information provided, in particular first name, last name, and email address, is true and correct.

The organizer points out that personal data will not be passed on to third parties without consent, nor misused.

The participant can revoke consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to booking@smyrilline.com.

After revocation, the participant’s collected and stored personal data will be deleted immediately.
