Um starvið

Starvið í Tax Free handlinum fevnir um at selja og ráðgeva innan spennandi vøruúrvalið, og sjálvandi at veita eina framúr tænastu við at hugsa loysnir og vísa hjálpsemi í ymiskum støðum. Harumframt fevnir starvið um at móttaka og skráseta vørur, seta tær á hillarnar, pynta og halda handilin reinan og ruddiligan. Við tínum hugskotum, og í samráð við tínar leiðarar, hevur tú eisini møguleika at seta tín dám á handilin. Tú verður partur av okkara stóra toymi, og vit taka væl ímóti tær.

About the position

The position in the Tax Free shop involves selling and providing guidance on our exciting range of products and of course delivering exceptional service by offering solutions and being helpful in various situations. The role further includes receiving and registering goods, stocking shelves, decorating, and keeping the shop clean and tidy. With your ideas, and in collaboration with your managers, you will also have the opportunity to add your personal touch to the shop. You will become part of our large team, and we will give you a warm welcome.

Employment Terms

The positions are temporary, from May 2026 to September 2026, with the possibility of extension.

The sign‑on/sign‑off arrangements are

May 5^th – May 19^th

June 5^th – July 5^th

August 7^th – September 4^th

You will work on a 1:1 rotation, meaning if you spend 4 weeks on board, you will also receive salary for the following 4 weeks at home.
Terms of employment are according to the collective agreement between Shipowners of the Faroe Islands & The Seafarer’s Section of The Faroese Fishermen’s Union. 
Safety is the cornerstone of everything we do, therefore we provide safety courses on board
