Arrival and Departure

Please read the important information below before departure. Passengers, who do not meet the conditions below, will not get permission to travel with Norröna and will be considered as "no-show"; this means that the ticket will not be refunded.

Check-in times: 

• On Saturdays Check in opens at 1:00 PM.
• On Tuesdays it is open from 5:00 AM.

Travelers with Norröna are asked to meet at check-in no later than: 

*However, 2,5 hours before dep. in Hirtshals in the period 11.06-26.08 for Iceland travelers leaving on Tuesday

Passengers with special needs are kindley asked to meet for check-in no later than 2,5 hours prior to departure. Please inform the check-in about your particular needs, and we will try to help you best (eg. let you park your car near the on-board elevator, help you to and from the disability cabin, etc.). While we do our best, you can expect waiting time connection with departures and arrivals.

Bring your Luggage with you

Deck is closed during the journey. Therefore, please bring the luggage you will need with you to your cabin. All passengers except the driver, are asked to use the gangway aboard the ship.
 

Frozen Goods

Frozen goods must be delivered to the check-in guard two hours before departure. Frozen goods must be labeled with the name and address of the owner, who must show ID and boarding pass at delivery. Be prepared to have to display the content.
