Highlights of Iceland - Bestseller!
A short but very comprehensive tour. The route goes all around Iceland, mainly following the circle route, thus visiting many of the most spectacular sites of Iceland: the most of Iceland in the shortest time possible.
Get to know the most of Iceland in a relatively short time. Visit all the most important sites, including the famous waterfalls Gullfoss and Dettifoss. You will be staying at hotels, farms or guesthouses including breakfast ashore and on board.
Enjoy this magnificent road trip around Iceland, where 95 per cent of the roads are paved and accessible by ordinary family car or motorcycle. We have tailored special itineraries lasting one or two-weeks, to make sure that you experience most of Iceland’s spectacular sights: breathtaking scenery, cliffs, waterfalls, lava landscapes, as well as charming, picturesque villages. Finally, don’t forget that there is no better end to an eventful day than bathing in one of the many thermal springs.

Driving in Iceland
Driving in Iceland might be quite different from what you are used to. We recommend that you check www.safetravel.is where you will find descriptions of what you can expect and guidelines about how to handle different situations that might arise.
Travelling on MC
The routes, which are most suitable for MC’s, are route 1, 5, 8 and 17. It is also possible to go into the highlands (route 3 and route 7) on a motorbike, but this is only for experienced drivers.
We recommend bringing along snow chains during the period outside June, July and August.
The routes in Iceland are fixed. In the event of fully booked accommodation during the high season (June, July and August), travellers may expect slight changes to the itineraries.
